Barron Beshoar has played guitar nearly every day since
1970.  His musical interests and projects have included
acoustic and electric blues, garage rock, new wave,
electronica, reggae, oldtime music, and gypsy swing.   His
rock credits include the 80s Denver bands Vatican West,
Anima Station and Ped Xing.  In addition to guitar Barron
plays clawhammer banjo, and dabbles in mandolin.  For the
last several years he has been completely obsessed by
swing guitar and the music of Django Reinhardt.  Barron is a
member of the board of the Longmont Jazz Association.
Dan Hankin started playing guitar in high school in 1958 and was soon
active in the New York City folk revival.  In the early 60’s he was in an urban
bluegrass band in NY.  He moved to Boulder in 1965 and played with Karen
Dalton for years, eventually touring with her in Europe as the opening band
for Santana, and appearing on both her albums.  He also met the seminal
singer/songwriter Tim Hardin in Boulder, played a number of concerts with
him, and played on the album “Tim Hardin 3:  Live in Concert”

After a hiatus during which he raised children and had a career as a social
worker, Dan’s musical activity was rekindled by an interest in Afro-Cuban
percussion, and he played in The Kroku Drummers around Boulder for 6
years.  This eventually led him to playing guitar in Knapweed, a local
bluegrass band, and most recently as a guitarist with the Hot Club of Boulder.
